Each year, we host the Rooster Awards, honoring local talent in a number of different categories, including:

• Contemporary Blues Act (Electric)
• Traditional Blues Act (Acoustic)
• New Blues Act Instrumentalist (any instrument)
• Female Blues Vocalist
• Male Blues Vocalist
• Blues Venue
• Blues Youth
• Keepin' the Blues Alive (community blues booster)

You must be a member to vote and can join right here on this site or in person at any of our events.

Awards

Winners in each category are determined by number of votes. Award announcements and presentations are made at the annual Rooster Awards ceremony on January 17, 2013.
